General terms and conditions of sale

Booking

If you have selected a non-cancellable, non-changeable and non-refundable offer, a pre-authorisation of €100 will be required upon arrival. It must be made by credit card. The amount will be released within 7 days following your departure. The security deposit will be fully refunded to your credit card, provided that no damage has been found by the hotel.

Please note that this security deposit must be provided using a physical bank card and entering the PIN code. Contactless payment is not accepted.

This deposit may be used in the event of smoking, damage or loss of keys.

Please also note that this security deposit may appear as a debit on your account. If this is the case, once it has been cancelled, provided that no damage, smoking or loss of keys has been identified, the debit entry will disappear. Depending on your bank and the type of account you hold, this may take between 24 hours and one month, even after the cancellation has been processed by us.

If you choose to pay at the hotel under a flexible offer, a pre-authorisation for the amount of the first night, per room, will be made.

Payment

Please refer to the payment conditions applicable to the offer selected.

No-show

In the event of a booking that is neither honoured nor cancelled, the first night of the booking will be charged to the credit card, or an invoice will be issued for payment.

Cancellation conditions

Please refer to the cancellation conditions applicable to the offer selected.

Arrival and departure times

Rooms are available from 2:30 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 11 am on the day of departure.

Miscellaneous

The entry of the required bank details and the electronic acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions and the Special Conditions constitute an electronic contract between the parties. This contract serves as evidence between the parties of the booking of the Service and of the amounts payable in connection with that booking.

The applicable General Terms and Conditions and Special Conditions represent the entirety of the parties’ obligations. No other condition communicated by the Customer may be incorporated into them.

In the event of any conflict between the Special Conditions and the General Terms and Conditions, the Special Conditions shall prevail solely in respect of the obligation concerned. In the event of any conflict between the general terms and conditions of any partner, of whatever nature, and these General Terms and Conditions, the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions shall prevail solely in respect of the obligation concerned.

If one or more provisions of the General Terms and Conditions are held to be invalid or declared invalid pursuant to a law, regulation or final decision of a competent court, the remaining provisions shall retain their full force and effect.

The French-language version shall prevail. If the General Terms and Conditions are translated into a foreign language, the French version shall take precedence over any translation in the event of a dispute, disagreement, difficulty of interpretation or enforcement of these conditions and, more generally, in relation to the relationship between the parties.

In accordance with Article L.223-1 of the French Consumer Code, consumers who do not wish to receive telephone marketing calls may register free of charge on the official telephone marketing opt-out list. This list is available at: www.bloctel.gouv.fr.

Applicable law and dispute resolution

The General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions that may apply in the consumer’s country of residence.

The Customer is informed that, in the event of a dispute concerning these General Terms and Conditions, they may use a conventional mediation procedure or any other alternative dispute-resolution method, under the conditions set out in Title I of Book VI of the French Consumer Code.

After contacting the hotel’s customer service department in an attempt to resolve the dispute amicably, and in the absence of a satisfactory response within sixty (60) days, the Customer may refer the matter to the French Tourism and Travel Mediator. Its contact details and referral procedures are available at: www.mtv.travel.
